Objective

My work is about playful and fun ideas that can be universally translated visually.

Words, signs & symbols, type and photographs are all tools for me to express my naturally imaginative and inventive personality.

My cross-disciplined work experiences in both design and art-direction mean I have a well-trained and discerning eye, with excellent composition and editing skills. I work passionately within a team, committed to the generation of new ideas, concepts and visual imagery.

Industry Experience

insightlighting.co.uk (2008)

My latest project was for a lighting and projections company who desperately needed a redesign of their website. This tested my ability to learn HTML and CSS coding aswell as coming up with new ways to display their diverse range of products to hire and sale.

I have recently finished a complete re-design of this fashion label's website. This involved conceptualising, copywriting, art-directing, planning and time-management and meeting with the client on a regular basis. ghulamsakina.com.

Tatty Devine (July-August 2007)

Contributed online content including two animated front pages. Product photography involved putting together an A1 life-size poster with the forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2007 Collection. www.tattydevine.com

Design & Art Directors Nomination 2006

Collaborated with two college friends, on the theme of 'underused space' in the 'Environmental Design' category we built a fully functioning homely space in an underground subway in Leeds.

Ally Capellino (Freelance work since 2003)

Producing main company image each season, which is used on postcards, website and marketing material. I am involved on many levels such as organizing models for the shoots, styling, retouching, photography and graphic design. Viewpoint Magazine (September 2003)

The youth trends magazine asked me to find 20 models (16-20) for a photo-shoot called 'Rainbow teens' photographed by Donald Christie. Following this I was approached by a casting agency called Tommy London to find another 20 teens for a Clarks shoes advert.
